Our Story
It all started with an old sewing machine, a cold head, a bit of free time, and a dash of creative spirit. When strangers started stopping us on the street and asking where we got our hat ( … and we usually took the hat off our head and gave it away) we decided to make a few more. And every time we made a bunch we found people to wear ‘em. So we decided to sell them and now we’re running machines all day long !
Each hat is hand-made …and that ‘aint just some marketing pitch. And because they’re hand-made there’s a bit of variety and unique quality you should expect in each hat, which is gonna be a bit different than the next one, but just a bit.
Everybody at HatzbyTaz is related to each other (one way or another) and some of them start at it kinda’ young, but that way they learn the importance of family and hard work.

OUR GUARANTEE
Each hat is made by hand here in New England. Nothing is outsourced. We source fleece from multiple suppliers to ensure that there’s a steady flow of new designs, but that also means that some designs, once out of stock, are gone forever.
Most folks who buy a hat from hatzbytaz have a variety of designs to show the world how they’re feelin’ that day. So check our page regularly , though if you subscribe (no fee , just an email) we’ll send you updates when new designs are available.
Each hat is authenticated by the hatzbytaz patch.
If it doesn’t have a patch it’s a PHONY and nobody wants a PHONY on their head.
